The Intergen Foundation is a federally incorporated Canadian not-for-profit, with our home in Alberta. We believe the wisdom of elders and the energy of youth together can relieve poverty, advance learning, protect our shared heritage and build a fairer world.
We the people More than us
Throughout time, we have progressively changed through the simultaneous events of birth and death.
Though development is of no use to the dead, it will serve us till our last breath.
And since death ends the need for development, it must be the property of the unborn.
So let's be mindful of what we pass on, less our descendants reflect on us with scorn.
Life then, cannot be but an investment in the future beyond our time.
Through which we steer our moral climb.
That true vision should soar past our death is a must.
For surely, "We the People" must be more than "Us".
